THE PRINCIPLE OF STILL LACKING ONE THING
The ruler came to the Lord Jesus and asked what he should do to inherit eternal life. The Lord listed five very severe conditions: "Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother." No young ruler could keep these commandments. It would be impossible for a young ruler not to commit adultery, not to murder, not to steal, not to bear false witness, and to honor his parents. No young ruler could fulfill these five conditions. Yet this young man amazingly said to Jesus, "All these things I have kept from my youth." He had not broken any of these commandments even once. It was as if he were saying, "Master, are there any more conditions? If not, I should inherit eternal life. I am qualified to have the eternal life." But the Lord Jesus told him that he still lacked one thing. "Still you lack one thing: all that you have, sell and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come, follow Me." Do you realize that you still lack one thing? What does it mean to lack one thing? The Lord Jesus said that he still lacked one thing and that he could not get by without having that one thing. Does this mean that everyone who comes to the Lord has to sell all that he has or that everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus has to give up everything? No, we admit that many rich people can receive eternal life. But why do we not see very many of them? Why are there so few of them? Some have said, "I cannot sell all that I have." Verse 26 indicates that some who heard this word murmured, "Then who can be saved?" In verse 27, however, the Lord Jesus said, "The things that are impossible with men are possible with God." The Lord was proving to the young ruler that salvation is impossible with man, but the young man would not admit that it is impossible with man. He thought that he could refrain from adultery, murder, stealing, and bearing false witness and that he could honor his parents. The purpose of the Lord's word was to prove to him that salvation and victory are impossible with man. Salvation is impossible with man, and victory is impossible with man. Yet the young man thought that it was possible. Therefore, the Lord laid out one more condition before him. He was saying, in effect, "Since you say that you can fulfill these five conditions, I will put one thing more before you. I may even add another thing and another thing to see if you can fulfill them all." When the young ruler realized that he could not fulfill the Lord's conditions, he became sorrowful and left.
If you try to be saved or if you try to overcome, God will often put "one thing" in front of you. We often feel that we have done a good work. We were quick in our temper, but now we can control it. We were proud, but now we can humble ourselves. We were jealous of others, but now we are not that jealous. We were talkative, but now we are no longer that talkative. We think that we are not far from victory and that we have overcome a considerable amount. But even though we may not be impatient, proud, jealous, or talkative, we still have one thing, one flaw. It seems that everything else is taken care of, but we are still short of this one thing. It may be a very small thing. It may be a fondness for eating, or it may be that we cannot get up in the morning before eight or nine o'clock. It seems so strange that we can overcome many other sins, but that we are unable to overcome this one sin. We are helpless in this matter. We spend all our effort to overcome it. We may ask others to wake us up, or we may use an alarm clock, but we still cannot wake up. We cannot explain it. We can overcome many other things, but we cannot overcome this one thing. This is the principle of Luke 18, the principle of still lacking one thing. God is proving to us that we are not able. Eventually, we will have to concede that we are not able. The Lord may allow us to become able in something, but He will show us that we still lack one thing. He has to show us that there is at least one thing which we are not able to do. In order for God to bring us into victory, He must first show us that we are not able. Victory is a gift from Christ; we cannot overcome in ourselves. Consequently, God leaves behind one or two things which are impossible for us to overcome. He is trying to show us that we "still...lack one thing."
Praise the Lord that I lack many things. This enables me to turn to Him and depend on Him, not on myself. I am NOT able. But He is able. Hallelujah!

God of All Grace
"But the God of all grace, He who has called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and ground you.
To Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen."
Praise the Lord for He is the God of ALL GRACE! I really experienced the Lord this week in the matter of being not able to fellowship with one another and being open to the sisters. I used to think, if I just ignore those feelings and put them aside, they will all disappear. Sadly, this is not the case. Instead, all these negativities built inside of you bit by bit, little by little, without you even knowing it. Hence, to me, it was an enormous cross that I have to bear. But when I read this verse through a hymn, I was so enlighten by the words that goes, "after you have suffered A LITTLE WHILE..." OH Lord Jesus! All the sufferings and obstacles that I have to bear in my life, are all just for a little while! Because it is through these environments and situations, the Lord is able to break us until we are fully and wholly open to Him, depending on Him, letting Him perfect us in our weaknesses, establish Himself in us, sevenfold intensified, strengthening us and ground us in His love. Oh... I really praise the Lord for such a grace and mercy that He had shown me. He is truly GRACE!

He giveth more grace
- He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace. - His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again. - When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.

Message Four - The Reproduction of the God-man
- The Lord did not retain His inner being for Himself
- He did not allow His mind to think whatever it wanted to think
- He did not indulge in feelings that were not pleasing to God
- He did not have any motives or intentions that did not express God
There's a word Brother Ron aimed especially towards us sisters which captured me.. ' For the sisters especially, I would almost plead with you: Will you spend your entire life guarding and preserving your delicate inward parts so that the Lord would have no way to transform you or to live through you? The Lord may have one thought, but you have a different opinion. The Lord may love one thing, but you love something else... We have held the Lord back for decades from being able to intrinsically form the God-man, the pneumatic Christ, in our being.' I realized that i have been trying to save and protect my soul.. this word enlightens me as well as the point mentioned in the first paragraph. i realized that i was not at all one with God in my inward parts.. not even one of the points mentioned above have i the guts to exclaim that i've managed to fulfill.. but i'm touched by what bro Ching Yih said. He said that we cannot, and will never be able to live out such a life according to our own effort.. Praise the Lord that we have our Lord as the prototype and the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit as the extract which will fill our spirit and pervade our entire soul... We really need the eyes of faith in order to see that the more we are transformed, the more the divine attributes of God will uplift, strengthen, enrich, and fill our human virtues for the Lord's expression in our humanity..

P.S.R.P.
Tonight, I praised the Lord that our experiences of the Lord is the processed and consummated Triune God where the Father is the source, embodied and expressed in the Son; the Son is realized as the Spirit and abiding in the believers; the Spirit being in the believers as their life and life supply - the living water of life, the bread of life and the breath of life, and becoming the divine grace enjoyed by them. Thank the Lord that this Holy Spirit is mingled with our spirit and not united, but MINGLED as one spirit! Oh.. another thing I enjoyed tonight was that, the anointing Spirit, the pneumatic Christ, the Spirit speaks to the churches. How and where does the Spirit speaks to us? It is when we are in the churches, in oneness. So it really showed me that why I need to go for meetings, conferences or video trainings, the reason is that the Lord speaks to the CHURCHES, not an individual person only but He speaks to us corporately, revealing His need and desire whenever we all are in oneness. Hence, I was reminded that I need to constantly exercise my spirit again and again, to be one spirit with all the believers in Christ. Amen.

Lord Keep My Heart, Open and Soft Toward You..
Lord, draw my eyes, to see nothing else but You
What ever may happen
I know You want to gain my heart.
Though i may not understand
Just keep dispensing into my every part
Make me a believer,
By looking at You,
Standing on Your Word,
Faithful and true.
**This is ONE of my favourite Hymn**
~just want to share it with you all~
Our dear SSB's b'day... enjoyed having dinner together at Pizza Hut.. however, stella couldn't make it.. she had 2 upcoming exams.. :(
It's alright, we'll still haf chances to come together.. it looks so nice to see the oneness though.. that we're not together by our natural self but according to the oneness of the Triune God~ Lord, gain us to remain in this oneness with all the other saints so that we can testify to others Your unique Body ~!

Our Concept of Value
Fren A: hey, later wana haf supper together? (in chinese)
Me: nolar..we hafta go for prayer meeting
Fren B: how cum u always go for meeting d?? dun wan join us d... dun give us face? :P
Me: (thinking to myself... if there's no meeting tonight, i'd join u... but d last time i joined you.. u guyz talked and talked for one hour plus.. and i even had an upcoming exam that time... i'd rather go for meeting since i can gain more of Christ ~ :P)
i bet u also experienced that before, right sis? but during just now's prayer meeting, i was touched by the saint's prayers... that we have to change our concept of value.. that left me thinking, if i were to choose between my friends and my Lord, i'd definitely choose the Lord... but then again, the Lord shone on me once more. What if, i were to choose between my parents and the Lord? Who would i choose?
Matt 10:37a 'He who loves father or mother above Me is not worthy of Me;....'
I need the Lord to really change my concept of value... that i may truly know the supreme preciousness of Christ and treasure His presence within me..

The Christian Life and its Sufferings
He was a man who was one with God.
He was a man who lived in the presence of God without ceasing.
He was a man who trusted in God and not in Himself, under any kind of suffering and persecution.
He was a man in whom Satan, the ruler of the world, had nothing (no ground, no chance, no hope, and no possibility in anything)
Lord, gain me to be one who is one with You, never ceasing to live in Your presence, to trust in You whole-heartedly, never in myself... Lord, i love You...
A hymn i enjoy.. love the meaning..
Speak oft with Thy Lord,
Abide in Him always,
And feed on His Word.
Wait thou in His presence,
Submissive and meek,
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.
Take time to behold Him,
The world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret
With Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus,
Like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends, in thy conduct,
His likeness shall see.
Take time to behold Him,
Let Him be thy guide;
And run not before Him
Whatever betide;
In joy or in sorrow,
Still follow thy Lord,
And, looking to Jesus,
Still trust in His Word.
Take time to behold Him,
Be calm in thy soul,
Each thought and each temper
Beneath His control.
Thus led by His Spirit
To fountains of love,
Thou then shalt be fitted
His mercy to prove.
