God of All Grace

1 Peter 5:10-11

"But the God of all grace, He who has called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and ground you.
To Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen."

Praise the Lord for He is the God of ALL GRACE! I really experienced the Lord this week in the matter of being not able to fellowship with one another and being open to the sisters. I used to think, if I just ignore those feelings and put them aside, they will all disappear. Sadly, this is not the case. Instead, all these negativities built inside of you bit by bit, little by little, without you even knowing it. Hence, to me, it was an enormous cross that I have to bear. But when I read this verse through a hymn, I was so enlighten by the words that goes, "after you have suffered A LITTLE WHILE..." OH Lord Jesus! All the sufferings and obstacles that I have to bear in my life, are all just for a little while! Because it is through these environments and situations, the Lord is able to break us until we are fully and wholly open to Him, depending on Him, letting Him perfect us in our weaknesses, establish Himself in us, sevenfold intensified, strengthening us and ground us in His love. Oh... I really praise the Lord for such a grace and mercy that He had shown me. He is truly GRACE!

Amen~ sis, i also have such an experience as yours.. quite a few times in fact.. However, as time passed, i slowly learnt that i have to be open to the Lord. I remember a brother telling us that everything will be alright as long as we enjoy the Lord. Sadly, most of the times, it's hard to enjoy the Lord when we're in that state. I'm still trying to practise that now and i find that it does help.. no matter how down we feel, i treasure that we have the Lord to turn to.. thinking back of what happened before, i learnt that everything would turn out alright as long as we are willing to let the Lord live in us.. In a training, the brother said that we're DEAD~ Christ is the One who should live in us! Praise the Lord~ We're dead. haha, we're often afraid of death, and we always try to save ourselves from 'death'. That's true. However, we must 'die' in order for Christ to live in us... May the Lord live in us, through us and out of us~

AMEN! Praise the Lord for His mercy!
I treasure what you said about we need to DIE in order to let Christ live in us. "Dying" indicating that we have no preferences, no opinions and holding onto nothing. Just utterly and completely surrender ourselves to the Lord. But we are still have a lot of 'clay' (natural man) in us, hence we need the Holy Spirit to continually transform us into stones. Not just ordinary stones, but PRECIOUS STONES!!! Wahh... I don't know why, but I just enjoyed the word "PRECIOUS"! We can be transform to be something worthy for the Lord to use us! Oh Hallelujah!

Amen~ yes, i also treasure that we're not being made into just any stones, but into PrECioUS stones. And in order to be transformed from clay to stones, we nid the 'fire' which are various trials arranged for us. may d Lord strengthen us. we are able to do ALL things in Him who empowers us! Praise the Lord! May we stand firm in our faith to the Lord :) All of us have trials, but each are measured according to what we can handle :) but in the midst of all these, may we continue to enjoy Him as our true jubilee!
